Item fields can be customised to suit your needs
There are a wide range of built-in fields available for use with Catalogue Items. Many of these fields can be customised:
- Fields can be hidden if desired
- The captions (labels) used for fields can be changed to suit your requirements
- There is a Quantity field that is treated as a numeric value - including the ability to see totals when grouping by other fields
- There is also an Amount field that is treated as a currency value - this also included the ability to see totals when grouping by other fields

Catalogue Item lists and Lists of people may be imported from an external file (a CSV file)
- CSV files (i.e. files containing Comma Separated Values) can be created using tools such as Microsoft® Excel
- If you wish, this allows you to type up your initial catalogue list or list of people as a spreadsheet, and then import the data when you are finished
- Alternatively, you may be able to export your existing data from some other system, and reformat it into a CSV file. If you are having difficulty doing this, contact us via email and enquire about our "Data Transformation Services".
